Bókasafn 
Maciej Turowski nam myndlist og hönnun við Listaháskólann í Nałęczów, með áherslu á formnýtnishönnun. Hann starfaði lengi sem innanhússhönnuður og leggur því áherslu á arkitektúrs- og skreytingarnálgun í listum. Geometrískt og lífrænt abstrakt einkennir verk hans, en hann vinnur aðallega með lágmyndir. Fjölvídd myndanna gerir honum kleift að leika sér með ljós og skugga sem skilar sér í dramatík og dýnamískri skynjun. Verkin sem hér eru sýnd koma úr safninu „Hugarró“.

Maciej Turowski jest absolwentem Szkoły Sztuk Plastycznych w Nałęczowie na kierunku Projektowanie Form Użytkowych. Przez wiele lat pracował jako projektant wnętrz, stąd architektoniczne oraz dekoratywne podejście do sztuki. Abstrakcja geometryczna i organiczna to kierunki, w których czuje się najlepiej. Prezentowane przez niego prace to ascetyczne, wyrafinowane reliefy. Wielowymiarowość obrazu pozwala na grę światłem i cieniem, co powoduje pożądaną dramaturgię i dynamikę w odbiorze obrazu. Prezentowane tu prace pochodzą z kolekcji “Spokój ducha”.

Maciej Turowski is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Nałęczów, majoring in Functional Forms Design. For many years he worked as an interior designer, hence the architectural and decorative approach to art. Geometric and organic abstraction are the directions in which he feels best. The works presented by him are ascetic, sophisticated reliefs. The multidimensionality of the image allows to play with light and shadow, which results in the desired drama and dynamics in the perception of the image. The works presented here come from the “Peace of mind” collection.
